Dear Turner Families,
I want to take a moment to reach out to you and express my gratitude for your wonderful commitment and your effort as we move forward with distance learning. This ever-evolving global crisis is creating many complex issues and, as you know, each family is dealing with their own set of unique challenges. You are truly rolling with the punches. Obviously, this is a major shift, and I greatly appreciate all of you and your partnership. Thank you for all you are doing to support our educators and your child’s education. We are determined to continue to do our best to provide a reasonable level of learning opportunities for our students to practice, reinforce, explore, and provide feedback as needed.
Please continue to partner with your child’s teacher and access the online learning tools they have made available. I am proud of your willingness to dig in and support your child’s learning. In my 4 years as Principal at Turner, one constant is the exceptional will of our school community to step up, put forth an amazing effort, and to rise to the occasion to make it happen for our kids.
